A craft event for complex kids.

I wrote these books to help my beautifully silly son, who was and still is in constant motion.

My picture books are crafted to enhance emotional and behavioral intelligence in kids, with a strong focus on silly behavior. Silly behavior often leads to impatience, low grit, and high energy, but my stories help kids manage it in fun ways.

School Craft Event

School Events:

Only Available for the LA, California location and within a 15 mile radius of Woodland Hills.

Each class will receive a book for their classroom (participating grade only). An order form will be provided for parents who wish to purchase the book with 10% donation from each book sale going to the school. All crafts supplied by me, Vix, and can be taken home by the children. Time 45 - 60 minutes. No cost to the school.

Does your class struggle to sit through a book reading? Do They love book readings? Have silly behavior? I've got you covered. This book reading event is to enjoy your silly. I start with a book reading.

My readings are not designed to be quiet, and sitting still is not a requirement. During the book, we'll make silly faces and “enjoy your silly”. If, at this point, we lose a kiddo or two (or most of them) to silly behavior, that's okay. I go with the flow. The reading is an introduction to the book, not an in-depth study.

After the book reading we move on to craft time, where the kids can create a very simple, quick, and easy enjoy your silly monster of their own.

And if I notice that there is a little listener during the book reading, I will sit and read the book with them at the end. No one is left out. Shy behavior, silly behavior, all behavior is welcome.
